Who we are

OttoBob.ai (operated by Mountain High Holdings LLC, Austin, TX) provides AI-assisted marketing, lead-response, and follow-up services for local businesses, together with the Otto University student-partner program.

Information we collect

When you submit one of our forms we collect the information you provide: name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, business name, and the details of your request. We also log basic technical data (IP address, browser type) for security and rate-limiting.

How we use it

To respond to your request, pair you with a local student partner or business, provide quotes and service updates, and — only with your express consent — send marketing and follow-up messages. We use AI systems to help draft communications; every outbound message is reviewed under human oversight before it is sent.

SMS / text messaging

If you check the SMS consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive marketing and follow-up text messages from OttoBob.ai (or the named local business on whose behalf the form operates) at the phone number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out and HELP for help. We honor opt-outs immediately and maintain an auditable record of consent and opt-out events.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Sharing

We share your information only with the service providers required to operate our platform (e.g., messaging and email delivery, payments, hosting) and, where applicable, with the specific local business or student partner handling your request. Ad platforms receive only the limited technical data described under “Cookies & advertising measurement” below, never your form details. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies & advertising measurement

Some pages we operate, including landing pages we run for local businesses, may use advertising pixels from ad platforms such as X (Twitter). When a pixel is on, the ad platform may set or read a cookie in your browser and receive technical data: the page you visited, your browser and device type, IP address, and an ad-click identifier if you arrived from one of our ads. We use this to learn which ads lead to quote requests and to show our ads to people more likely to be interested.

We send the ad platform only the fact that a quote request was submitted. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, or the details of your request, and we keep the ad platforms' automatic form-matching features turned off. The ad platform's own use of this data is governed by its privacy policy (for X, see x.com/privacy).

Your choices: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, our ad pixels do not load. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, adjust your personalized-ads settings on X, or ask us to opt you out of targeted advertising from our contact page. We do not sell your personal information. Some state privacy laws treat letting an ad pixel collect data for targeted advertising as “sharing” or “targeted advertising”; the choices above are how you opt out of it.

Retention & your choices

We keep records only as long as needed for the purposes above and for legal compliance. You may request access to or deletion of your data, or withdraw consent at any time, from our contact page — deletion and consent withdrawal are actioned immediately, and you get a ticket number and confirmation.
